Starting Out Right provides health education and supportive services to pregnant and parenting adolescents ages 21 and younger, regardless of their financial situation. Participants come from every background such as full time mums or dads, step parents, grandparents, foster parents, teachers, doctors, council workers, lawyers, artists, writers, musicians, and job seekers have turned up ready to participate in a non-judgemental and confidential setting facilitated by Judy or her team. The Teen Parenting Program at District provides the student with facts, information, and resources concerning pregnancy, labor and delivery, and parenting. A teenage pregnancy can be difficult and District understands the seriousness and sensitivity of the situation. Additional requirements for admission are evaluated individually.
